    , Our ManagementColin is Chairman and joined STA in 2001 as Managing Director before moving to the role of Chairman in 2016. He has many years of general management experience in credit management including 10 years at D&B prior to 13 years at Graydon. Colin is a prolific writer and speaker on all matters credit management related, and represents STA on a range of international trade associations. Colin is a fellow of the Chartered Institute of Credit Management (FCICM) and a fellow of the Chartered Institute of Marketing (FCIM).

    , Our ManagementBefore joining STA in 2002, Jan had 20 years of credit and collections management in industry sectors including publishing, toy distribution & telecoms/media where she ran a 120 agent call centre. Today, as Operations Director, she has strategic responsibility for productivity, performance, and compliance of our dedicated commercial, consumer and student collection teams. In addition, Jan controls our quality accreditation, ISO 9001, tender and contract compliance, and client KPI performance. Jan is a fellow of the Chartered Institute of Credit Management (FCICM).

    , Our ManagementMatt joined STA in 2001 as a Management Accountant and then became Financial Controller with UK and US responsibilities, before becoming Finance Director in 2007. His career in accounting and finance started nearly 20 years ago gaining experience in banking, corporate and practice interrupted by 4 years of service with Her Majesty’s armed forces as a Surveyor.

    , Our ManagementNeill had over 20 years of experience with D&B and ICC selling credit management solutions, before joining STA in 2002. Today, he leads our student debt collection sales, in addition to a select number of key accounts in the B2B arena. Neill has overseen STAs rise to market-leader in the Higher & Further Education sector and graduated himself with BA Hons (Econ).

    , Our ManagementSam had 20 years of sales experience, the last 10 years at a debt collection agency competing with us, before joining STA in early 2018. Familiar with Higher & Further Education establishments, as well as NHS Trusts and B2B, Sam works alongside Neill and brings a broad range of consultancy skills to help improve our client satisfaction.

    , Our ManagementEma joined STA in 2011 to work in debt collection and confidential credit control. Ema is now our Head of Quality & Compliance and is responsible for the maintenance, measurement and review of our quality & compliance management system, to ensure that we continue to deliver service excellence and full compliance. Ema moved to the UK from Sardegna to study and is a graduate of the University of Greenwich.

    Paul joined STA on September 2019 as Head of Contact Centre Operations Scotland. Paul has 25 years’ experience within the Financial Services sector at Senior Management level working within Finance, Banking, Insurance, Collections and Recoveries on Secured and Non Secured debts, utilities and telecoms. Paul has held senior roles within RBS Insurance, Capquest, Arrow Global and Fidelite Credit Management managing 150 agent contact centre. Paul will be responsible for output on productivity, performance and compliance for consumer collections within our Glasgow Contact Centre.
