STA retains its ISO 9001 accreditation

In May 2011, STA Graydon successfully met the quality standards required to maintain its ISO 9001 quality accreditation. The assessment was audited by The British Assessment Bureau who themselves are accredited via UKAS (United Kingdom Accreditation Service) which is the only accreditation body recognised by the British government to assess organisations that provide certification, testing, inspection and calibration services. ISO 9001 is the quality benchmark designed to ensure process management is at the heart of good business practice. Expectations of continual process improvement and tracking customer satisfaction are central to the accreditation.
Operations Director Jan Baker says: “We’ve put a great deal of effort into implementing the requirements of ISO 9001; we have embraced the process and use it as a self review exercise. We are pleased to announce that, in this latest assessment, we have successfully maintained our management system in line with the requirements of the Standard with no non-compliance issues reported.”
Managing Director Colin Thomas adds: “We act on behalf of clients who entrust us with the job of getting their customers to pay them. With cash flow so vital to the well-being and future success of our clients, we recognise the responsibility this places on us as their supplier. Our adherence to ISO 9001 means that we negotiate with our clients debtors in a tactful, respectful and assertive manner. Vitally, from a client perspective, this also ensures that all of our debtor contact is consistent, recorded and subject to scrutiny.”
