STA continues to expand with a new sales appointment

STA has announced the appointment of a new senior manager in its sales operation. Demand for debt collection runs parallel with debtors’ ability to pay, so in the current economic downturn, demand is high. To meet the demand, STA has increased its sales resources:
Ken Apter, Business Development Director, heads up our consumer collections sales. Ken spent 23 years at Barclays Bank, latterly as Head of Third Party Collections Strategy & Performance, maximising the performance of third party DCAs on the bank’s outsourced mortgage and credit card portfolios. For the past two years he has consulted for DCAs with utilities, banking, online shopping and debt purchase his primary collections expertise.
Managing director Colin Thomas says: “With too much working capital tied up in accounts receivable, DCAs have a major role to play in growing our economy. To play our part we need best-in-class resources to meet-and-beat customer expectations. Ken has the experience, knowledge and commitment to enhance the customer experience, and we are thrilled he has joined us.”
