STA International is part of the leading debt collection and receivables management company, STA Inc. Founded in New York in 1955, and still STAs HQ; it owns other international offices in Atlanta; Chicago; Los Angeles; Mexico City and Beijing.
Since January 2012, STA in the UK has adopted the trading name STA International, and this follows its purchase of the shares from its minority shareholder, Graydon. This ended a period of 11 years when the business traded as ‘STA Graydon,’ and restores the independence of the STA Group.
STA International is an award-winning debt collection agency, acting for c900 B2B clients and more than 70 B2C university clients. For its receivables management clients, STA operates in the client name providing transparent ledger management or outsourcing services on a UK and international basis. STA also provides skip tracing services to locate ‘gone-away’ debtors.
In the UK, STA International has five offices:
• Maidstone: pre-legal debt collection, receivables management and tracing
• Leeds, Liverpool and Manchester: sales offices
• Welling: legal debt recovery
